The prices of the old apartments in Bucharest continue to ascend, given that the offer of new housing is increasingly weaker, and the buyers are reoriented to the secondary market. According to ZF Index real estate, made alongside SVN Romania, the average for an old three -room apartment, built between 1978 and 1990, climbed to 127,462 euros in June 2025. It is an increase of almost 4,400 euros compared to May, that is 3.6%, and an addition of over 18,500 euros (16.8%) compared to June 2024. After before the elections held in May – but also between the two tours – there was a decrease, ”explains Andrei Sârbu, CEO of SVN Romania. «The current price increase is higher compared to the one estimated by SVN earlier this year – about 15% on average – mainly due to the significant decrease of new housing and price increases from this segment, part of the buyers orienting to the secondary market.»
