On the first place is Ion Stoica, with 5 billion dollars, founder of Databricks and Romanian professor established in the USA, who shares position 852 with Matei Zaharia, also a Romanian professor. Ion Ţiriac occupies the 1,755th position, with a fortune of 2.4 billion dollars, while Dragoş Pavăl is on the 1,913th place, with 2.2 billion dollars. His brother, Adrian Pavăl, owns 1.5 billion dollars and occupies the 2,600th position. The ranking of the richest Romanians is closed by Daniel Dănescu, who is in 2,858th place, with a fortune of 1.3 billion dollars.
