In less than five years, Logwin Romania has increased from 5,000 square meters to 15,000 square meters of deposit area and from several employees to a team of over 70 people. With a constantly rising turnover and regional expansion plans, the company becomes a key point on the Magistics map of Central and Eastern Europe. Florian Anghel, the Logwin Romania CEO, tells how he managed to quickly develop the business in a volatile market and what's next years.Logwin is a multinational forwarding company, with German origins, present in 37 countries, with 195 offices and about 4000 employees. Active in an area of logistical-storage and transport services-Logwin focuses on industries such as fashion, health & beauty, cosmetics and automotives. In Romania, Logwin actually entered operations in 2019, and the local market plays a strategic role at regional level. «I was attracted by the Logwin project since I talked to the company's board in 2017. In 2018 I have relocated to Vienna, to understand the internal systems and processes, and in parallel I searched the location for Romania,» says Florian Anghel. Today, Logwin Romania operates a warehouse of 15,000 square meters in the area of the A1 ring road, keeping the specialization on Fashion Retail and Health & Beauty. As the operations have expanded, the team has grown: the company now has 72 employees, most of them directly involved in logistics. In parallel, Logwin also developed the maritime and air transport part at local level and, more recently, in Bulgaria, where he opened a location of 1,500 square meters in Sofia. The Romanian market is seen as a growth pole for logwin at regional level: «Romania has the potential to become a logistics hub for large companies.
