Almost a year and two months have passed since the launch of Salt Bank, owned by the Banca Transilvania Financial Group, the largest bank in the EEA. Over 500,000 customers are the threshold exceeded by the Digital Bank at the time it celebrated one year since its launch in April. How far can you reach with flexibility and courage? In a world where change is constant, how much does agility matter to a leader?
I think two things can take you away: courage and flexibility. The better you get them, the faster and safer. I do not promise success overnight, but I certainly give you a clear advantage. An agile leader is the kind that not only sees change, but also acts quickly. And in a market that changes constantly, this matters enormously. Decisions made well and in time make the difference – between reacting or leading the game. After all, success comes from the ability to adapt, to remain calm in chaos and to find simple but powerful solutions, even when things become complicated.Did you get it in the bar? Perfect. Tell us! What was the biggest mistake in your career and the lesson you will never forget? My career started with a step that, at that time, seemed like a failure. Looking back, however, it was one of the most valuable lessons I learned. I had finished the Faculty of Law and my dream was clear: to become a lawyer. I prepared for four years for this, but I could not pass the admission exam in the Bucharest Bar. It was a moment that forced me to completely rethink my professional path. Without a spare plan, I had to find a new direction quickly. But, I learned something that I say often today: it didn't bet everything on a single book.
