The Catinvest group has made investments of 36 million euros in retail and in the development of office spaces, and the next stage was the aparthotel project, an important step in the maturation of the group. We want to prove that we are a stable company on the Romanian market and that we intend to stay here. Romania is currently one of the most important development markets for us, considering that we also have centers in the Czech Republic and Hungary, ”said Catinvest marketing and communication representative, in the most ceasing edition of the ZF Real Estate by Storia. One of the most recent projects of the group is a luxury apartho-tel in Craiova, inaugurated in November 2024, following an investment of 12 million euros. «Aparthotel was opened shortly before the holidays to ensure that everything works correctly and that we offer a special experience to visitors. In December, the apothotel was rented 90%. This project is noted for apartments of at least 55 square meters, up to apartments of 80-85 square meters, all offering facilities that allow guests to feel at home, even if they are far from their permanent home, ”added Leoveanu. Designed by Designer Pascal Delmotte, the construction comprises 60 apartments, fully equipped. Regarding the typology of customers, Leoveanu explained that their profile is still in training, but that there is an interest from families, business people in Craiova and tourists. «We address everyone, having facilities for each of these categories,» she said. The prices for an apartment range from 100 euros to an apartment with a bedroom and 200 euros for one with two bedrooms, and the rates can be lower depending on the duration of the stay. The investment of 12 million euros was intended for the construction and ensuring high quality standards, using premium materials, including the highest quality wood. «We want to bring to Craiova a feeling of luxury and refinement, a place where people do not expect to find such facilities,» Leoveanu said.
