It is normal that Romanians who owe the state love our country. Outside they would be starving or, at most, nobody. Naturally, the Romanian escapists are proud. Otherwise, they would be quickly executed, they would not be pardoned for years. It's normal for the authorities that run the country to complain that they «don't have it», but they don't want to change anything, especially for political reasons. We really like being lied to nicely. Periodically and at the request of the public. The private sector has a permanent circus and pays for it, through donations to the state, on time and correctly. The circuit of lies is based on the laws in force, which are so permissive that we expect miracles by repeating the same mistakes, relying on the same habits and harmful traditions of the state. This is where the increased fees, taxes and excises, bureaucracy and unsanctioned losses, produced by state officials in favor of thieves and tricksters, appear. Current laws allow state dignitaries to be irresponsible before … the laws. All this, without exception, against the Romanian entrepreneurs. Hence the snail's pace of the economy. For years in a row, all these major problems of the country have been known. And now they are (re)known, but when the domestic investors try to present the shortcomings of the public system in relation to the Romanian entrepreneurs, who do you think jumps up and shouts «huo»? Re-read the title… The state does not assume its lack of efficiency, politicians change or do not get involved in changes. High-ranking officials shield themselves with «concrete» employment contracts. If the state wants, it can bankrupt any company with Romanian shareholders that has money to recover from contracts with… the state. I didn't have and don't have contracts with the state, that's why I'm allowed to write. Many Romanian entrepreneurs ended up in «legitimate defense». They make any fiscal artifices within the limits of the law to survive. Sometimes, even if they make mistakes involuntarily, they are punished or humiliated by the authorities, who do not forgive them. On the other hand, politicians never forget investors and honest citizens, especially when they need money in the budget, resorting to coercive measures, in order to «squeeze» out of the little profit of the companies that survive in the mioritic market economy. In this way, the «donations» to the state continue to flow, even if it does not offer them better business or living conditions. Nothing is left to chance in the circuit of lies. Every electoral promise is followed by indifference, uncertainty, threats and reprisals directed against the private environment. From time to time it is worth asking ourselves what Romanian politicians live on. This is how we can find the answer, finding that lies live well and are supported by powerful interest groups, sometimes parallel to the free market economy. In my opinion, talking to many local investors, this is what the Romanian economy looks like now. We go around in a circle like guinea pigs, when the bad-paying and inefficient ones are forgiven or find loopholes and go about their business well, thank you. The fair and well-paying ones are obliged to cover the holes of the state, working more for the good of all. The Romanian state would be «dead» without Romanian and foreign investors.
