The problem is that this political crisis, the lack of a government with full powers, the lack of political leadership is starting to attack the businesses of companies more and more. If the purchasing power of consumers actually decreased by 7-10%, sales decreased by even 20-30%. After the bullet passed through their ears with the presidential elections of 2025 (many even took their children out of the country but never brought them back), the business leaders placed high hopes in Nicusor Dan, in the pro-Western governing coalition, in Bolojan, in the PSD, in the PNL, that they will succeed in bringing back the economic growth of previous years, that we will have a country strategy at least for the next 4 years, that we will have a common pro-Western government program that will lift Romania up. After not even a year we woke up to a total political failure of those who took power, with the pro-Western forces, at least as they declared, and the more than 70 days without a government, without political solutions, show a totally irresponsible political governance, which threw Romania overnight into a pit of uncertainty regarding the future. The obligation of business leaders that they assume every day is to do business, to have ideas, to deliver products and services, to hire people, to pay salaries, to pay due taxes and duties, to make profit, to pay profit tax. On the other hand, Nicusor Dan, Ilie Bolojan, Sorin Grindeanu, etc. do not seem to have any obligation to exchange. We are in a system where business leaders end up standing with their hats in their hands at the doors of political leaders, at the doors of state institutions. This is also the result of previous situations in which the business leaders were each on their own, each tried to solve their situation with the state, each did not need another business leader. As long as business was going well and businesses in Romania doubled, if not even tripled in the last decade, no business leader bothered with what was happening in politics, with the budget scandal, with the fanariotism of the public administration. Now the situation has changed, their businesses are hit hard by the tax increases, by the current political crisis, by the lack of a stable horizon from an economic and political point of view, by the lack of ideas regarding the future of Romania. Considering this situation, maybe several business leaders would join together to put pressure on the political leaders in the formation of a new government, so that we have political and economic stability and do not fall prey to a total chaos from which we will not come out ten years from now.
