While the whole world goes through the largest technological revolution of our generation – one in which artificial intelligence quickly rewrites the economy, education, security and labor market -, in Romania, political parties are arguing in Cotroceni. Not on reforms. Not in the direction. But on algorithms of power division. To whom more counties, ministries, appointments and local influence catch. Everything while the world accelerates. And while Romania remains in damage, without decisions, without a stable government and without strategy. This is not just a political crisis. It is a proof of deep immaturity. Because Romania is not an NGO in which someone well intentionally «does what he can», with limited resources, in breaks of enthusiasm. Romania is – and must be treated as – a joint stock company. What does that mean, concrete? • Romania competes every day with other countries – for investments, for resources, for talents, for strategic position. • Romania has shareholders – citizens – who invest monthly taxes, work, loyalty, and in exchange awaits performance, predictability and safety. • Romania has costs: budget deficits, underdeveloped infrastructure, commercial imbalances. • Romania has assets: energy, geographical position, fertile land, a talented people. • Romania has lost, for years, human capital – brains that leave because the «administrators» of this company do not know or do not want to keep them. In any joint stock company, if the management refuses to make strategic decisions and quarrels month by month on chairs and benefits, the Board of Directors is held accountable. But to us, the «Council» – that is the parties – treats the company called Romania as a prey to divide, not as an entity that must be made profitable. And in the meantime, the world is transformed the countries that will know how to take advantage of AI, robotization, automation, short -lived chains and their own resources will prosper. The rest will become markets, cheap labor tanks, fiscal and energy colony. We? We argue on functions. If I looked at Romania from the altitude at which the eagle flies … … I would understand that the real stake is not who occupies what ministry, but where this country reaches the next 10 years. • The Ministry of Development matters only if a real transformation is felt in each county. • A prime minister becomes relevant only if he has the courage to move the economy in the correct direction. • The color of the government acquires meaning only when Romania becomes attractive for investments, internationally respected and safe for its citizens. From above, it is clear: Romania can go forward only with a competent administration, well -allocated resources and decisions taken for the future, not for the next 6 months. We need a new type of government: one with a clear direction, rigorous execution and real responsibility towards those who support the country – citizens. A message for the political class: it is time for politicians to understand that they can not only win, while the country loses. In an joint stock company, all shareholders have to win-so that, in the end, they also win the management. When Romania wins – through investments, trust, coherence and progress – those who lead it also win. Not the other way around.
