I looked at the television debates for the presidential elections and saw a block session at the lowest level. The apparent goodness expressed by politeness formulas is rapidly overshadowed by gestures that contradict it. Exacerbated emotional reactions make a grotesque circus. The pseudo-science is raised to the rank of art. Demagogogy does not contain. The absurd. Tear. The pathetic. All are held by the chain and the last fragrance of the future president. God is on everyone's lips and in the soul of anyone. How to look at a man who resort to the lowest laces and attacks with respect to win a few votes? How many times has a decent, intelligent man offended, offended or persuaded another man in everyday life? Why do we apologize for mythomania, grossness and lack of common sense? Just because it is broadcast on television?! Why do we want a stupid, tabloid stand-up, precisely from the future president, when the economy, geopolitics and internal policy are at the limit? I wish from the heart that good growth, decency and intelligence to triumph and return to our lives to make better. The economy of Romania is formed in an overwhelming proportion of micro-enterprises, with modest financial performances. Most of the performing companies are concentrated in Bucharest, Ilfov and some university cities, such as Cluj-Napoca, Timişoara or Iaşi. But a few kilometers from these, poverty hit you from the entrance. In Oltenita, from where they come, just 60 km from the capital, a city with a port on the Danube, time is in place. An economic city after communist state companies were devalued by the Baby Boomers generation and the X generation, even by Millennials, are waiting for European funds to save themselves. As Oltenita there are a lot of other localities. The rural, small and large urban gaps are irrecoverable. The generation of the decrees, the people born as a result of the ban on abortion by Ceausescu, will soon retire and put greater pressure on the state budget, in which an employee supports four pensioners. Romania risks entering the junk, inflation at alarming levels, tax and economic unpredictability, labor, the risk of isolationism and changing the geopolitical direction, irresponsible, populists and opportunists and the border war are just a few of the problems that really matter. I didn't see many opinions about them. In an attempt to remedy the budget deficit, the Government has cut the tax facilities for the IT sector, wages are becoming higher and Romania is no longer an option for outsourcing for corporations in search of cheap labor. The exodus of the brains is seen in the poor quality of the Romanian economy. Few Romanian entrepreneurial initiatives extend abroad. We do not have strong competitive benefits on the international market, we are always followers, rarely leaders. Soon 20 years have passed since accession in the European Union, and the structural funds meant to recover the gaps between the countries will diminish. We did not do enough to assimilate European money. The state is unfair competitor of the private environment with wages difficult to support by the entrepreneurial environment. A public system with many officials, often non -performing, and the lack of a centralized IT system make Romania a diving ship. In 2017, the former president of Estonia, Toomas Hendrik Ilves, told a technology summit in Bucharest that his country digitized the public system. Public institutions are interconnected. When a child is born, he is automatically inscribed to the register of population records, the family doctor, and when a citizen goes to the doctor or the pharmacy, he can access the historian from anywhere, in conditions of cyber safety. Romania still has a chance to participate in the rebuilding of Ukraine, if we maintain our healthy European values, aligned with strategic partners. I have paid my state taxes always. But not for a cheap circus I paid, but for better living conditions. For predictability. For stability. The elections with the highest presence from the vote are by far the presidential ones. However, in the era clickbait, post-truth, big data, fake-down and deep fake and AI, Homo-Faber is increasingly vulnerable to distinguishing evil and good, truth and lie. In the era of Revolution 4.0, the personal brand becomes more important than the organizational one. The most followed channels on social networks are of influencers, politicians and opinion leaders. In the chase by figures, social media and media no longer distinguish between content with substance and filling. So, as long as we fool ourselves, we risk staying stupid.
