Launch of BMAX ETF by Rex Shares
In an official statement, Rex announced the launch of Rex Bitcoin Corporate Trevertible Convertible Bond ETF (BMAX), an original fund that offers exposure to convertible bonds issued by companies that already have a Bitcoin treasury. The company mentioned Michael Saylor's strategy to buy Bitcoin, emphasizing that public companies have begun to use convertible bonds to finance BTC's purchases for their treasury. According to Microstrategy, now known as Strategy₿, several companies, including Metaplanet, followed Saylor's example. In December, reports suggested that Amazon could also create a BTC reserve. Saylor announced the launch by a post on X earlier, emphasizing the benefits of BMAX.

Simplifying access to convertible bonds for the purchase of BTC
BMAX from Rex has the following characteristics, according to the official statement: it simplifies access to convertible bonds through a single actively managed ETF. It focuses on issuers like Strategy₿, the convertible debt company supported by Saylor's Bitcoin. Provides a combination of debt stability and the growth potential of actions. It offers investors exposure to companies that capitalize on the BTC and the benefits of convertible bonds. The Rex CEO, Greg King, said BMAX is the first ETF to offer retail investors and investment advisers access to convertible bonds issued by companies that included BTC in their corporate treasury. He stressed that so far, such bonds were not easily accessible to investors, but BMAX will eliminate these barriers, facilitating investments in BTC strategies, while capitalizing on corporate debt to buy BTC as a treasury asset. Bmax aims to provide a regulated and simplified way to interact with the market and to obtain indirect exposure to Bitcoin in a more conservative way, rather than by direct holding. The measure taken by Rex Shares strengthens the increasing institutional interest for the BTC and the related products.
