The Teraplast Group, the largest polymers processor in Southeast Europe, reported in the first quarter of the year a turnover of 249.2 million lei, up 41% compared to the same period of 2024, and a net consolidated profit of 1.2 million lei, compared to a loss of 2.5 million lei in T1/2024, the financial report published in BVB. EBITDA increased by 76%, reaching 21 million lei, and the consolidated EBITDA margin has improved by 1.7 pp, from 6.7%to 8.4%. Quantitative sales increased by 25%to almost 30,000 tonnes. The gross margin increased by 41% value, from 64.3 million lei in T1/2024, to 90.8 million lei in T1/2025, and was 36% in quarter 1 of 2025 – at the same level as T1/2024. «The beginning of 2025 shows a reinforced, larger and stronger theraplast group, with an extended imprint on the European markets. The two -digit and profitability increases are the concrete result of the strategic internationalization decisions. The strategy of regional extension and we will continue to focus our efforts to increase business and capitalize the opportunities. Sales outside Romania represented 38% of the consolidated turnover, ascended from 17% in T1/2024. In the absolute amount they tripled, against the background of the geographical extension of the group, from 31 million lei in T1/2024, to 95 million lei in T1/2025, which is in line with the strategy of internationalization of the group sales and reducing the dependence on a single market. The Teraplast Group is composed of Teraplast, Teranglass, Teraplast Recycling, Terabio Pack, Palplast Moldova, Wolfgang Frelerer (Austria and Hungary), Optiplast Croatia, Aquatica Experience Group and Somplast companies. From July 2, 2008, Teraplast SA is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange under the TRP symbol. The actions of the company are included in the BET reference index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, in the SMALL and Global Cap indications of FTSE Russell and in the MSCI frontier IMI. The company has a capitalization of 844 million lei, and Dorel Goia owns 46.8% of shares.
