The name PLG, derived from the Piletilevi Group, keeps the connection with the original brand, but at the same time conveys a more international and neutral image, say the representatives of the company, which currently operates in seven countries, including the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Romania. «Over the years, we have expanded our presence and technology to serve millions of customers in several markets, establishing ourselves as a regional leader in Central Europe. PLG's rebranding symbolizes our commitment to deliver moments that matter to audiences across Europe and beyond,» says Sven Nuutmann, PLG's president. The rebranding was coordinated by Velvet and also includes a new logo and a modernized visual identity. PLG, owned by the investment company Angel Rose Capital Ltd. of entrepreneur Sven Nuutmann and private equity investment fund BaltCap, is an international ticketing company operating in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. In the summer of 2023, PLG began a strong expansion in Central Europe, acquiring majority stakes in the oldest ticketing company in Romania, Bilete.ro, in the most important ticketing platform in the Czech Republic, GoOut.net, and in the Polish companies kicket.com and biletomat.pl. Recently, the group also acquired Ticketing Nation srl, a well-known player in Romania that operates the platforms Entertix.ro and Myticket.ro. The two companies that merged in Romania sell almost five million tickets annually, with a value of over 30 million euros, and the online platforms register over 24 million visits per year. Also, following the transaction, Piletilevi Group became one of the leaders of the ticket sales business in Romania.
