The association between the Bihor companies Selina (leader) and Drum Asfalt, founded by the Russian entrepreneur Beneamin, won a contract of 64.1 million lei (12.6 million euros), without VAT, with the Oradea town hall for the development of new green spaces and for educational and sports constructions. Concretely, the investment involves the development of the Nufărul urban garden in the area between Meiului Street, Lotus Street, Lotus Complex and Vavilov Street. The subcontractors of this work are the Al.Se.Ro companies. Impex, Kaluna, Precon Transilvania, Rimotech, Termoline, Imsaurisa and Schindelr Romania. The deadline for execution is 24 months from the issuance of the order to start the works, according to a press release sent by the Oradea town hall. «The Nufărul urban garden project will offer the residents and visitors of Oradea an innovative recreational space, which combines outdoor areas with covered spaces. The development concept proposes the creation of a modern greenhouse, a tower and a pedestrian walkway, integrated into a dynamic green landscape», it is stated in the press release sent by the municipality of Oradea. The project was submitted by the municipality of Oradea for financing within the Regional Program 202-2027, call 713 – Improvement of the tourism infrastructure of the Nufărul urban garden, are part of the Selina group, founded by the entrepreneur Rus Beneamin, which also includes the construction companies Drumuri Bihor and Selina Invest (real estate development). In 2023, the Selina construction company from Oradea completed the reorganization process and emerged from insolvency in 2024 with a turnover of 78.6 million lei. with a net profit of 9.8 million lei, with an average number of employees, according to the information available on the website of the Ministry of Finance. In 2024, Drum Asfalt had a turnover of 525.6 million lei, and an average number of 211 employees, according to public data. Among the most important projects carried out by the Selina group companies is the Beiuş municipality, the bypass of Alesd, the rehabilitation of the national road 76 (DN 76) on the Brad-Deva section, works at the Satu Mare airport and the Oradea international airport and others.
