One of the industries that will suffer and where people are already being laid off is the auto components industry, which is hit by the economic slowdown of the German economy, the main export destination for auto products, explains Bogdan Badea, CEO of the eJobs recruitment platform. «The auto parts industry is affected, there we are big suppliers for the car market in Germany and there we see that Volkswagen is having problems. There are no more offers, there are even restructurings of certain companies from Ardea and Banat,» said Bogdan Badea, the CEO of the e-Jobs recruitment platform, during the ZF Live business show made with the support of Orange business. Another sector that will be under pressure, according to Bogdan Badea, is IT. There, artificial intelligence is already starting to have its say, the job offer, especially for beginners, is getting thinner and thinner. In addition to the impact of technology, the local industry follows the trend in the USA where more and more programmers are laid off after the American companies employed a lot of people during the pandemic, and now in the context of the economic and political turbulence they have to reduce the staff to keep the business in optimal parameters. «Overall, in IT, the junior area is getting thinner and thinner in terms of supply, practically here we see the direct impact of artificial intelligence, workforce optimization and what is happening in the States, where there is a reduction of the total number of employees in the respective industry.
