Warm air from the southwest will continue to flow to the Czech Republic in the following days along the back side of the high pressure area. With sunny weather in the afternoon, especially on Friday, the temperature in the Czech Republic can rise to 17 °C, but due to the end of February, the situation will still be complicated in some places by fog and low inversion clouds. Although the sun's rays already have enough power to dissolve the inversion, however, in the areas of the weakest flow, especially in northwestern Bohemia and central Moravia, the inversion fogs may not dissolve until later in the afternoon. In places where the fog lasts longer, the maximum temperatures will be up to several degrees lower compared to locations sunny from the morning hours. A weak cold front from the north will try to disrupt the calm and almost spring-like weather on Sunday, but it will not bring much precipitation, and immediately behind it, another high-pressure area will spread to Central Europe from the southwest. We can count on above-average warm weather with local fogs in the first half of next week as well. The return of winter weather is not yet in sight, and if it does, it will probably be in mid-March, thanks to the breakup of the polar vortex. On Thursday, the sky will be partly clear, in the morning freezing fog or low inversion clouds will form, especially in the western half of Bohemia and central Moravia, which will dissolve by the afternoon. The lowest night temperatures will drop to +2 to -2 °C, in the east to -4 °C, and the afternoon maximum will rise to 7 to 11 °C, in the Czech Republic up to 13 °C during longer sunshine. There will be a weak southerly wind of up to 4 m/s, only in the north of Moravia and in Silesia the wind will be fresh with a speed of 4 to 8 m/s. Friday will offer similar weather. The sky will be partly clear, in the morning, especially in the western and northwestern half of Bohemia, low inversion clouds or fog will form, which will dissolve by the afternoon. In the morning we will measure between +2 and -3 °C, and the afternoon maximum will depend on the length of the sunshine – we will most often measure 10 to 14 °C, in the Czech Republic up to 17 °C. There will be a moderate southerly wind at a speed of 2 to 6 m/s. Saturday will still offer sunny weather and places where low clouds will form or freezing fog will disappear. In the afternoon, it will be partly cloudy, sometimes even cloudy. Morning lows will drop to 4 to 0 °C and in the afternoon the mercury will rise to 11 to 15 °C. There will be a moderate southerly wind. Sunday will bring more clouds, but precipitation will appear only occasionally. Predominantly cloudy to overcast, during the afternoon from the west to partly cloudy. In the morning we will measure between 4 and 0 °C, and in the afternoon temperatures will rise to 7 to 11 °C. A light north-westerly wind will blow. According to the latest numerical model calculations, similar weather awaits us for most of the next week as well. The sky will be partly clear, in the morning fog or low clouds will form in places, which will dissolve by the afternoon. Afternoon temperatures will rise to 8 to 12 °C, in the second half of the week up to 15 °C.
