Today, in our area, extremely extreme heat before the temperature of the cold front, today, culminated in the area of very warm air from the south. Summer day (at least 25.0 ° C) has occurred in many places, occasionally and tropical (at least 30.0 ° C) – especially in Romania. In our country, the temperature sporaded above 28 ° C, thereby breaking long -term temperature records. Summer day also occurred in typically colder mountainous regions such as Orava, Liptov, Spiš and Kysuce. However, this warm weather does not take long. The incoming cold front will end the extremely warm weather and will also bring more heavy rainfall (details in the next post). However, it will not be as pronounced as today in Germany (Fig. 1), because it will advance to our area from the southwest of the Mediterranean, where the air behind it is not as cold (already more transformed).
