The Visa Bank Branch of the Year contest, which evaluates the quality of customer service at brick-and-mortar bank branches in the Czech Republic, has concluded the results for the 1st quarter of 2026. Eight banking houses covering the middle of the market are involved in the project, and the competition is thus very strong in the long term. SOB (Betislavova, Hradec Krlov) finished in second place, and MONETA Bank (OC Kraków, Lodsk, Prague 8) took first place. Type of SOB: modern service and digital orientation The SOB branch in Hradec Krlov scored fifth for its modern environment, clear navigation and high level of digital client support. A strong point is working with the client upon entering the branch, where orientation is provided by a well-mannered greeter. The jury appreciated the safe, visually unified interior, the barrier-free path and the use of the digital panel and self-service elements. The branch also supports clients in the use of digital services, for example through the virtual assistant Kate. Tet MONETA: availability and comprehensive advice The branch of MONETA Bank in Kraków OC Kraków was among the best thanks to excellent availability, long opening hours including weekends and quality advice. Clients especially appreciate the quick service of the self-service center and the professional approach of the banks. The counselors here actively work with the client’s individual needs. The consultation was professional and the client left with a clear goal and an agreed next course of action, the evaluator sums up the evaluated professional team. — The top quarter automatically advances to the overall finals, where it will compete for the title of Bank Branch of the Year 2026. This award is determined by an independent expert jury made up of representatives of academia, copper and technology partners.
