♦ The MessageCraft solution is available on a monthly subscription basis (15-180 lei) and helps to write e-mails, translations and generate contracts ♦ Altamira Software is preparing for the months of May-June the launch of a new mobility platform with an impact in the construction area, a project for which it is looking for financing ♦ In parallel with the development of its own products, the company acts as a technological and consulting partner for start-ups at the beginning of the road, fully operating the technical area for projects such as the SoNexy social network.

The local software development company Altamira Software, which is gradually transitioning to a business model based on its own intellectual property, proposed for this year the market validation of its first product, the MessageCraft AI assistant dedicated to the efficiency of written communication. In the B2C area, the company wants to gain traction this year, and in the B2B segment it has proposed to attract the first enterprise customers to develop complex integrations with their internal systems. In parallel, the company acts as a technical partner for start-ups and prepares a new mobility platform for the construction industry. «The target for the B2C area is to validate that the idea has traction and that customers use it and give us feedback, and from there we can grow. And in the B2B area, in the enterprise area, we want to have 1-2 customers with whom we can build on some of their concrete needs, starting from what we already have. For example, integration with CRM solutions, ERP, e-mail integration or other solutions they have in their architecture,» he said during the show ZF IT Generation George Panainte, founder of Altamira Software.

MessageCraft: from own need to a complete product for the market

The idea behind the AI assistant dedicated to business communication emerged from an internal challenge of the founder in managing interactions with external customers, the solution being finalized during the last year. The product integrates several language models behind (such as ChatGPT or DeepSeek) and works directly from the browser. «MessageCraft started out of a need. I was working a lot with companies from outside and I had to write emails, I had to write in English and I was wasting quite a lot of time to formulate them, to sound perfect, to sound good», he explained. The application offers users several modules: translation, generating responses to e-mails, creating content for social media and generating contracts based on pre-trained templates. The solution mainly focuses on keeping a unified tone of voice, with users being able to set their own personalized profiles. Also, another advantage is the fluidity of translations: ideas can be introduced in Romanian, and the platform automatically formulates the professional answer in English (or in other languages to be integrated, such as Spanish, Italian and Bulgarian). From the point of view of monetization, the application works on the SaaS (Software as a Service) model. «The cheapest package is 15 lei per month, if it's an annual subscription, and the most expensive is 180 lei per month, also with an annual subscription, and you have all the functionalities», detailed Panainte, noting that there is also a free trial version, limited to a certain number of monthly uses.

Enterprise Module: The secure AI that queries company documents

In addition to individual users, MessageCraft has an enterprise version, designed for companies that want to unify communication and quickly query their own databases. «The enterprise module integrates company documents – for example, contracts, presentations, etc. We thought to ensure security and differentiated access to these documents. Basically, access to documents is made depending on the department you belong to and the settings the administrator has made regarding those documents», stated the entrepreneur, adding that in this way, employees can ask, for example, directly in the application what penalty clauses exist in a particular contract or at what stage an integrated opportunity is in CRM.

New platform in preparation and seeking funding

If MessageCraft was developed from its own funds obtained from outsourcing services, for the next product under preparation, the company is looking for external financial support. The launch of the first version (MVP) is estimated for the months of April-May, followed by the promotion to the market. «We are working on a mobility solution that will have an impact in the construction area and not only. We are quite advanced with the solution. Here we are even in an area where we are also looking for financing, because we are talking about a platform and a much larger volume of transactions, much more complex than MessageCraft», pointed out the founder of Altamira Software.

Technology and business partner for start-ups

The second «hat» of the company, which financially supports internal innovation, is the role of technological partner for local start-ups. Altamira acts practically as an outsourced technical department, covering the consulting area, from idea and architecture, to code writing and operational maintenance. An example of a start-up that the Altamira team works for is SoNexy, a social network for learning that has reached 13,000 users. However, the approach is not limited to execution. «We try to offer some services that a large company would offer – if we think of a large technology supplier. We try to do the same thing, which means a consulting package plus actual product development, plus everything that means implementation, i.e. infrastructure configuration, monitoring, operation, etc.», concluded George Panainte.
