Dragoş Roşca, managing partner of the private equity fund BoldMind, says that he looked at almost 300 company profiles, and with 100-120 companies they have already started the first round of discussions to see what the seller wants, if he wants to exit or sell only a stake. «In Romania, we already have quite a large number of entrepreneurial companies that were founded in the 90s, so the entrepreneurs were around 34-45 years old at the beginning of the 2000s. These people are around 65-75 years old today. The companies have grown, they have reached a level of 5 million euros or even 15-20 million euros, but they don't have anyone in the family to leave the business to, nor do they have enough management and I think that's about 65% of the companies we saw», said Dragoş Roşca in the ZF Live business show. He manages a fund with a capital of 60 million euros, of which 20 million euros from Romania's National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and the rest is money from private investors, especially the management team. BoldMind invests in companies in the region.
