The manufacturer of Cesal adhesives and mortar, owned by the Polish group Atlas, who bought in 2023 a special mortar factory and adhesives in Căpuşu Mare, Cluj County, from the Sika Sika, reported for 2024 a turnover of 86.3 million lei (17.3 million euros), raised by 15.3%, with 15.3%, 73 million lei (14.7 million euros), according to ZF calculations based on the information on the website of the Ministry of Finance. Cesal returned last year on profit, with a net profit of almost 4.2 million lei (about 843,000 euros), from a net loss of over 534,000 lei (108,000 euros), suffered in 2023, according to public data. The company reached an average number of 82 employees last year, with 12 people more than 2023. Last year, the company has budgeted investments of 7 million euros for refurbishment and expanding the capacity of the factory from Căpuşu Mare (only the assets were purchased, the factory did not work for more than a year at the time of taking over), according to some information provided.
