In 2024, the firm's programs attracted over 60 Law students, who participated in structured academic initiatives, practical internships and educational projects carried out nationally, including in the NNDKP offices in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara. «Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen was named the winner of the Future Lawyers Program of the Year award in the 2025 edition of the Social Impact Awards awarded by the Legal Benchmarking Group for the programs dedicated to future generations run by NNDKP, a recognition of the firm's sustained contribution to supporting and developing future generations of professionals in the legal field in Romania», explains Shailyn Tirado, research director for the Social Impact Awards. At the internal level, the company's representatives emphasize that these programs go beyond the formal component of recruitment. «The NNDKP programs grew organically, out of the desire to be close to young people, to offer them practical experience, mentoring and an honest perspective on the lawyer profession. For us, it is a natural responsibility to contribute to the training of future lawyers and to offer them an environment in which they can learn, make mistakes and evolve», says Adina Chilim Dumitriu, executive partner and coordinator of the student programs. For her part, Ruxandra Teodorescu, human resources director of the company, emphasized the role of the mentor teams: «programs dedicated to students are a form of social involvement, but also a long-term investment in the company's future. The new generations are looking for more than a first job; they are looking for people, values and a place where they feel seen and supported. All these steps would not be possible without our mentor teams: NNDKP lawyers who involves voluntarily and with great generosity in the training of students.» The EMEA Social Impact Awards recognize social impact and inclusion initiatives carried out by law firms in the region and are considered an international benchmark in the evaluation of best practices in the legal industry. The distinction obtained by NNDKP comes in a context where the competition for attracting and training talents is becoming increasingly intense on the business law market.
