Fuel prices continued to fall on Friday as well, with gasoline reaching a minimum of 8.72 lei/liter before Easter, and diesel at 9.5 lei, according to peco-online.ro data. Internationally, oil prices have fluctuated in the last two days, after the announcement of the armistice between Iran and the USA, amid uncertainties related to traffic through the Strait of Hormuz. Brent oil is traded on Friday at around 96 dollars/barrel, compared to the highs of 110-111 dollars last week. The cheapest gasoline and diesel is sold on Friday morning at Petrom stations, while OMV displays the price of 8.83 lei and 9.67 lei/liter, respectively. According to peco-online, at Rompetrol stations, gasoline costs 9.11 lei, and at MOL 9.23 lei/liter. In the case of standard diesel, at Rompetrol and MOL it costs 10.02 lei/liter. For premium diesel, prices fluctuate between 10.3 lei and 10.9 lei/liter.
