Emerson, the local subsidiary of the American industrial group with the same name, increased its net profit 2.3 times in 2025, up to 270.3 million lei (53.6 million euros), on a turnover of 2.41 billion lei (477.2 million euros), up 3.5%, but at the same time reduced the average number of employees by 201 people, up to 3,433 – the second consecutive year of decrease -, according to the data published on the website of the Ministry of Public Finance.
Business growth slowed down in 2025, after strong advances in previous years – plus 42% in 2023 and plus 17% in 2024. Net profit rose to the highest level in recent years, after in 2024 it had dropped by 24%, to 118.4 million lei. Net margin doubled to 11.2% from 5.1% in 2024, according to public data. The organization brings together several areas today: production, engineering, IT, global services and support functions integrated in international networks.
