Bitget announced the launch of Bitget Agent Hub, a new platform designed to support the next stage of AI-based trading as intelligent agents move from experimentation to real market participation.
Standardizing AI interaction with the market
As AI tools increasingly act on behalf of users – monitoring markets, summarizing research and executing strategies – the trading infrastructure is being reshaped. The main challenge is no longer the intelligence of the model, but the ability of agents to interact with real markets through secure, transparent and trusted systems instead of opaque connectors or experimental tools. Bitget Agent Hub addresses this problem by introducing an official toolkit, Model Context Protocol (MCP). Built on Bitget APIs, it enables AI agents to access transaction data and execution functionality through standardized and secure interfaces. By offering MCP servers managed directly by the exchange, Bitget aims to reduce integration risks while allowing agents to operate on professional-grade infrastructure.
Modular infrastructure and developer access
A central objective of Agent Hub is to remove the traditional «black box» of quantitative trading. Using MCP as a common interface layer, trading capabilities can be assembled as modular components, not custom systems. This approach allows for more flexible development of strategies, reducing barriers for developers and paving the way for wider participation in AI-based trading. The platform is designed for rapid integration. With Agent Hub's QuickStart setup guides, developers can connect their AI systems to Bitget in just three minutes, without the need to manage complex API signatures or wade through extensive documentation. Each tool listed includes clear feature descriptions, installation options, and configuration guides, offering a balance between speed and operational clarity.
Security framework and sub-account management
Security and reliability remain central to the platform's design, with exchange-level safeguards including dedicated sub-accounts specifically for agent use, enabling permission control and a clear separation between automated strategies and user assets. These stages will be rolled out gradually, along with the MCP tools. This structure is intended to give users more confidence when they allow agents to operate on their behalf.
Future integration into the ecosystem
Bitget also plans to support continued innovation by incubating developer projects and initiatives, including ClawBrawl – a contract-based strategy arena – expanding developer tools and future skills marketplaces designed to identify and implement agent capabilities. Bitget Agent Hub builds on Bitget's evolution towards a Universal Exchange (UEX), where crypto-native assets and products from traditional markets operate under a unified account and risk framework. By integrating Agent Hub into its UEX architecture, Bitget reinforces its commitment to AI-based trading, facilitating seamless operations between different asset classes and transforming agents from experimental tools to practical market participants in a single, integrated trading environment.
