At Tesla's Austin meeting, euphoria reigned, but so did tension. At the last general meeting, Tesla shareholders approved the largest compensation package in the corporate world, 1 trillion USD for Elon Musk. The abbot, who went to 2025 caused a sharp discussion, finally passed with the support of 75% of the original voters. What does Musk have to accomplish? Astronomical goal Schvlen fully divides Musk's potential reward into a 12-phase release action, which is activated only in the event of clear achievement of specific market and operational milestones. In the final result, if Musk fulfills all the goals set, his ownership in Tesla will increase from the current 13% to 25%. On a piecemeal basis, this represents 423 million new shares. The first phase will start when the spike in Tesla's capitalization reaches USD 2 trillion compared to the daily USD 1.54 trillion. Subsequently, each year reflects an increase of USD 500 billion, while the final target is an unsustainable USD 8.5 trillion. On the other hand, the financial targets are no less ambitious. Ron profit and 400 billion USD*, 20 million vehicles per day, a million active robot taxis and the same number of humanoid Optimus robots. It should be noted that Tesla reported the number of vehicles delivered to date at 8 million. AI imprium Musk has long insisted that Tesla is more of an AI company than a car company. In connection with this, his vision is clear to combine the autonomous woman (FSD), robotaxi services and humanoid robots into one ecosystem, where data and artificial intelligence will form the main competitive advantage. Tesla currently offers a Full Self-Driving Supervised system, but it still requires supervision. Musk traditionally promises full autonomy, but a specific date is still wrong. The Optimus project was also created in an experimental phase. Pesto Musk declared that robots will eliminate poverty and become that business, not smartphones. The judgment wall of the past Ne ve is however idyllic. The previous retirement plan from 2018 was annulled in January 2024 by the court in Delaware, specifically due to the conflict in particular. Musk has appealed, but the new plan from 2025 is based on a certain structure, without regard to previous conditions. They are interested, and despite the disapproval of the main consulting agencies Glass Lewis and ISS, who recommended voting against, the shareholders approved the proposal. This is a clear signal that investors want Musk to remain firmly connected with Tesla, even at the cost of specific risks, since the plan does not contain a day limit regarding Musk's political engagements or the mandatory time spent in the company. That's a concern for some stocks, especially after NBER research showed that Tesla's US sales would be 67% and 83% higher if Musk wasn't such a polarizing figure.
