Today, the work «Index of the Romanian Entrepreneurship 2025», the 2nd edition, made by IMM Romania, in partnership with the Romanian Commercial Bank, Pluxee Romania, Banca Transilvania and Groupama Asigurări took place. The work represents the most complex interpretation of data on the Romanian entrepreneurship and presents the analysis of the business environment, the index of the evolution of SMEs and the index that reflects the appreciation of the entrepreneurs regarding the situation of the companies based on 15 macro-economic indicators, namely: the real rate of GDP growth, the rate of unemployment, the rate of unemployment, The fiscality of the labor force, the dynamics of the tax on profit and income, the dynamics of the tax on dividends, the respect of the principle of one in-one out, the stability of the exchange rate, the deficit of the trade balance, the interest rate related to the inflation rate, the dynamics of the direct foreign investments, the country rating, the dynamics of the number of companies. The score of the Romanian entrepreneurship Index is 49.5 points out of 100 in 2025, corresponding to a moderate level of the entrepreneurial system. The four categories of the index are critical or weak entrepreneurship, moderate entrepreneurship, emerging entrepreneurship and solid entrepreneurship. The most important aspects reported in analysis 2025 are the following: the inflation rate is decreasing in 2024 compared to 2023 with a percentage of 5.10 %; The unemployment rate in 2024 was 3.28 % in a slight ascending compared to 2023; The average net monthly salary has completed an increase of 11.14 % compared to 2023; 30.37% of SMEs estimated that the evolution of the Romanian economy will be favorable to the development of their businesses in 2025; 36.85 % of SMEs estimated an increase in export level in 2025 compared to 2024; The perception of entrepreneurs regarding contextual evolutions with negative influence on the activity of SMEs: 74.24 % bureaucracy and taxation, 32.09 % The level of business environment, 50.76 % The process of lending to companies, 50.75 % perspective of qualifications, competences and the level of professionalism on the labor force.
