A disconnection of the energy system in the Republic of Moldova was registered on Saturday morning, due to problems in the Ukrainian network. According to the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Moldova, the problem was reported on Saturday morning, at 10.42 am. The Ministry announces that the voltage has dropped on the 400 kV line Isaccea-Vulcăneşti-MGRES, causing the disconnection of the power system. The problem would have arisen, according to the cited source, due to serious problems in Ukraine's electrical network. «The operator of the electricity transmission system, Moldelectrica, is working to remedy the situation, in some localities the voltage has already been restored», the Ministry of Energy also transmitted.
